The Flip-Flop Without Legs

Yesterday, President Bush spoke before getting on Air Force One to take him on his tour of the gulf coast. He said that the response to the hurricane was unacceptable. This was the lead story over the rest of the day, as everyone who spoke of his tour showed him saying this statement. Much has been discussed on other blogs about the blowjob briefing he received from the republicans on the scene, etc. But what happened later was not shown widely, which I think is kind of a story. Small in comparison, but one that I would think would have received a little play. He recanted his "unacceptable" remark and made excuses and revised his remarks. What he originally called unacceptable became 'people doing what they can' etc. Your President: flip-flop, flip-flop. Or..."Not As Pissed As Originally Thought."
