Colorado Governor's Debate, Live and Uncensored

Just now, televised live, broadcast on local tv and CSPAN, Bob Beauprez was asked: Do you favor employment non-discrimination for being homosexual? Bob: I think we already have a law for that, so no: it would be duplicitous. (pausing long enough for the cricket chirps) The American Heritage Dictionary defines duplicitous as: Given to or marked by deliberate deceptiveness in behavior or speech. Someone bold, someone who doesn't care if they're wrong, that's what we need for a Governor. As a sidebar, this debate is a national joke. Channel 9, the sponsor, is one of the most respected news outlets in the country. But they won't shut up the audience, so everyone wolf-whistles after answers. They should shut up the audience or not call it a debate. Yes, I know it's picky, but I'm bitchy tonight.
