Darth McCain

Wolcott is right, as usual.
"It was also clear from the tone of McCain's remarks that he favors military action against Iran. It's difficult to think of any military action he wouldn't favor.

This man is too dangerous to let anywhere near the presidency. He's simply Dick Cheney with a better backstory."

There have been many people, mostly anti-Bush people, who have tried to downplay this side of McCain, citing the tactics used by Karl Rove in the South Carolina primary in the 2000 election, and how unfair they were to McCain. However, it's so way past time that Democrats get over their love affair with McCain. Anyone who pays attention beyond the pasted-on smile will see he doesn't actually say anything a democrat could love. It's all show, but then, it's always all about show. We'll see as time passes how much more perfected McCain's show has become.
