Bush Agenda, R.I.P.

With DeLay indicted (how much chance do you have when Pat Buchanan thinks you're toast?), the Bush Agenda is effectively dead. Without "The Hammer" to hit congress over the head to pass multi-billion-dollar legislation at 3 a.m. to avoid press and Democrat scrutiny, his agenda is done. Post-Katrina, Republicans have been running away without trying to seem like they're running. Now that there is no one to oversee them, Bush is done in Washington. Republicans can run in the open away from Bush. David Drier as Majority Leader? Please. Bush might as well let Cheney be President. Oh wait.....
