The Reality of Joementum

Joe Lieberman just had his ass handed to him on the floor of the Senate, in a vote on an amendment he brought up. It would increase funding of the Department of Homeland Security by 8 billion dollars, offset by closing tax loopholes. Not a single Republican voted with him. Yet he insists on siding with the Republicans on almost everything. When he finally wakes up to his status within the Republican party (his undeclared party), he will be out of office. A girl can dream, can't she?
